For massage therapists: What is the best way to heat massage oil and keep it hot.?
I crave to use hot oil for Swedish massage. I can heat the oil in water on the stove, but this is bothersome. My kitchen is not anywhere near my massage area. I have seen commercial warmers for rub down oil bottles on-line, but they are expensive ($130
For the basalt rocks, you can use an tense crock pot with water in it.
Same for the massage oil.
I usually warm mine in the microwave, about 15 seconds for an 8 oz hem in - make sure you open the lid, otherwise it may explode!
After it is warm, you can keep it testy in a baby bottle warmer. There are also electric potpourri warmers
