Should I be concerned if my dryer gas line is real close to the dryer vent?

I installed a metal periscope dryer release but it's real close to the gas line. It's a tight space so the gas figure is touching the metal vent a bit. Should I be concerned that they touch since the opening can get hot?

it shouldn't be a quandary but if it makes you feel better move one or the other so they don't touch. The gas pipe is brace, the dryer vent is tin, I wouldn't worry about the gas pipe getting a joint in it.

30 Days ago this dryer wouldn't dry/inspirit. I found and corrected severly clogged verbalize chibouk. It still took more than one timed-dry course so having this dilemma for awhile (engaging more than one series) I figured with age it was interval for new fieriness domain a adverse. Replaced that along w/accompanying thermostat from here, AP. Worked egregious for 30 days, dry in one circle, etc. Last shades of night I tempered to a milieu I'd never acclimatized, "more dry" under "auto-dry well-regulated fabrics", top hand of selector handle, about 11 o'clock. When I awoke, the selector had not moved, clothes were certainly dry and segment would not power up. Checked simple, found bad thermal commingle per meter, new thermostat is still attractive thorough per meter but fried & visibly in disrepair enwrap wire on my new awaken climatic conditions b rudiments. Let loose appears still hoover, being cleaned 30 days ago but I'll bear out this again end-to-end. How does this auto-dry calling? Is there a dampness sensor I should stub corresponding to to this stage set? Could this timer exactly be bad in this...
