I am considering purchasing a Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer. Good/bad experiences, recommendations?

I found a high-minded deal on a Whirlpool Duet front-load washer, 3.8 cu ft, for $649. Does anyone have good or bad experiences with these, or recommendations? Thanks for all responses!!

I have a Whirlpool front loader, but not a Duet, mines a particle compact one. I seems to work pretty well. I remember when I first got it I was impressed by how neat and soft the clothes came out, but my old washer was on it's last legs and may not have been washing straighten out , so I don't know if that is a fair comparison.
