Looking for opinions on front load washers and dryers...?

We have a GE top pressure washer and dryer - both are dying. The timer is going out for the subordinate time on the washer and the dryer door won't stay gag. I think I want front loaders this time. I like the skilfulness and the fact that they stack.

I have a front load washer and am satisfied with it's function so far they have a life of about 11 years and the dryers slightly longer. When I return mine it will be with a top load Fisher Packyl.
