Whirlpool washer agitator will not rotate right and it knocks really hard?

When I start it the agitator seems like it is not enchanting and takes forever to do a full rotation. And when it gets to the spin succession it starts to knock really hard. I want to understand if that is an easy fix and if so how would I go about doing

if it's a newer instrument it has a over capacity peice that will break off if it is ever over loaded. I don't know the enjoin specs for the weight rating but it is designed to break if say a lad were to get trapped in it. I had the same problem last year and that was the case. The piece costs about 25 dollars but it is sufficiently hard to replace

My Maytag Washer will fill with freely but it will not rouse. It attempts to move albeit very slowly, and it is very thundering. The agitator spins liberally both clockwise and counterclockwise. I can manually put it to weave and it will unfold and move into the touch up rotation, but once the not ring true fills, the agitator will not labour. I can manually put it into rotation again and it will be giddy separate. Can you please arrogate? I honestly would like to try to fix it. The first chance this happened a few days ago, the washer fair-minded stopped in the stimulation course and there was an electrical/burnt scent. Since then, I have tried a few things, and once the washer is hypothetical to discombobulate, it shakes very slowly, and there is no more electrical/burnt sniff. Again, everything else works the way it is theoretical too, except for the provocation.

The out body of our 15 year old washing machine that went out in a big way last week when it flooded the the council from top to bottom. Now it awaits a trip to the dump. In the meantime, I used it to gambol with Photoshop a bit :-)
