Why would you poverty to do that? You'll get all those bad chemicals in your system from drinking unfiltered water. You don't have to change the filter more than once a year anyway so it can't be that bad. I have filtered water from the fridge too and only change it once a year if that.

I purchased this for my GE refrig and it does NOT line well. No condition how many times I tried to place it, it continuously sprays water exclusive the refrigerator. I will say, however that the Water Lookout is a considerable institution and admitted that they have had more than one beef about it not working on some GEs. They are sending out a new one that “should occupation” at no charge to me even though I didn’t conduct speedily from them. So — virtuous be knowledgeable that you may get one that is imperfect or well-grounded not compatible.
