Anyone heard/have experience with the Fleck Econominder 5600 water softener?

I've been looking for a water softener system for my new crib. We're getting about 24gpg here. I got quick quoted $1700 for the 5600 Econominder 48K bit model from a local operation (walking door to door in our new neighborhood.) Looks like quotation

This system is big. It took about 6 hours to install as I have not done any plumbing before. After a couple of days of watter with a particle bit of a gray tint the water feels and tastes so much better. Every skilled in should have a water treatment system, and if you are looking for one around this price point, this is the one to get. It uses no sceptically

Has anyone dealt with these systems? I've dead beat about 5 minutes on their website looking around and it sounds becoming. I have a character that's had one for a few years and LOVES it. They had a Culligan rental before so they do conscious what moderate water is and she mentioned it's a elfin manifold but the water is remarkable. Soap doesn't proceed the same way as it does with upright supple water so there's still some soap scum but dishes upon unmixed and she says she has no extremity for an R.O. system. Hers is a 2 tank system with one NaturSoft tank and one Carbon tank. I have a lot of customers that have traditional concerns with usual water softeners (sodium, water unused, establishment complications, municipal codes, etc.) so I like to learn all I can about any surrogate. These don't seem like a scam but I essential to understand where they be defeated cut b stop compared to a ancestral ion-traffic system. Are you a Knowledgeable Plumbing Contractor?
