Wine suggestions for a wedding?

I'm not a wine drinker, more of a confused drink/cocktail kinda gal. Only wine I ever really had was a red one and a white zinfandel. LOL - anyway, I'm attempting to narrow down OK wines for a high end wedding with a $400,000 - $500,000
typically you would neediness to offer at least one red wine and one white wine. red usually goes best with your heartier meals, like the filet mignon and light-skinned goes better with pastas and fish.
as far as the levels of pleasant and dry...people's tastes are all over the place. i can't stand sweeter wines while my pal in law can't
